(P2) - Describe how the sound elements are produced

Foley Sound -

Foley sound is when sound is created in post production to replicate real sounds that may not have been recorded very well, or need to be exaggerated. Foley sound was founded and created by Jack Foley, when he recreated sounds for film using everyday objects.

A foley artists roe is to find normal objects, or cheap renditions, which can be used to recreate sound that is needed in a film or video. For example, rain can be recreated by various things such as bacon frying, water on a hat and tapping of metal.
